Tournament Results:
12/3/11 Noon tournament. Lost early with AQ versus Q6o all in preflop. I felt I had a good read on the player so raised way too much so I reraised him with AQ and he pushed with Q6 off-suit and I snap called with AQ. Good read, bad result.
12/3/11 7pm tournament. Out at 1am. Called an all in from a player after the queen high flop with KQ but my opponent was on a draw that hit. Was down to three tables.
12/4/11 Noon tournament. Busted a little after midnight when the button pushed with a weak ace and as a critical short stack I called with 89 suited. Flopped an open ended straight draw and turned a flush draw but the river bricked.
12/5/11 Noon tournament. Busted at 11pm when I raised with nothing attempting to steal the blinds as I had a medium short stacked (just lost a flip with JJ versus AK). Only the big blind called with a weak ace and an ace hit the flop. I pushed on the turn when my opponent made two pair. Bad timing.
Fun cash game hand. Playing $5/$10. I was down to $360. Early position makes a standard raise to $35 and gets two callers. I push for $360 with AK. Everyone calls preflop. Flop is King high and one guy bets with 45 of clubs which hits a flush on the river.
Bad call during cash game. Playing $5/$10 with Borgata regulars in the only $5/$10 NL game running at 10am. Call a standard raise with low suited cards as does the tightest player on the table. Original raiser makes a standard continuation bet and we both call. I hit my flush on the turn and the tight player bets and I call, original raiser folds. Tight player makes another 2/3 pot sized bet on the river. I know I'm beat but call anyway. There is a reason he is a tight player. He had the nut flush. So stupid on my part.
Was happy with my tournament effort but not the results. The structure was excellent with long and varied levels such as 50/75. I was able to get comped hotel rooms at Harrah's and all my food was comped so that helped keep expenses down. Again I recognized so many people. Someone told me why play in Las Vegas against professionals when there are so many easier players on the East coast. Some interesting $100-$200 prop bets during the $5/$10 cash game betting on red/black (two red or two black cards on the flop). I used my blackjack card (how to reduce the casino advantage to less than 1%) and it worked as advertised as I broke even. I really don't get excited playing blackjack but there were some fun people at the table. I only play to help boost my comps. Still so much to learn.

Sounds like you played great in the tournaments (went deep), but no money. Tournaments are like that.
